A consultation is where we separate what looks beautiful in a photograph from what will work beautifully for your hair. My job is to understand your goal, identify the safest path, and explain the maintenance honestly.

I begin with history

Previous color, relaxers, keratin treatments, extensions, heat habits, medications, shedding, and at-home products all help explain what I see and feel. Even a service performed months ago can affect what is possible today.

Then I assess the hair and scalp

  • Density and strand thickness
  • Elasticity, porosity, and breakage patterns
  • Scalp condition and visible irritation
  • Ends, shape, and areas of uneven length
  • The relationship between your goal and current condition
Sometimes the most luxurious service is the one that refuses to rush your hair into a result it is not ready to hold.

You leave with a plan

A strong plan may include the service you requested, a modified version of it, or a preparation period focused on strength and moisture. You should understand the timing, investment, home care, and future appointments before we begin.
