Raised as a true “shop baby” in her mother’s salon in Terry, Mississippi, Dannella learned early that a stylist’s chair can be a place of transformation. She watched women arrive carrying the weight of the world and leave standing taller.
More than 23 years into her career, she brings together a Master Cosmetology license, business education, a Master’s in Theology, and a deeply personal understanding of textured hair. As the mother of four daughters with beautifully different textures, she committed herself to studying the complexity of hair so care could feel simpler, healthier, and more sustainable.
Moncure Beauty is the expression of that experience: expert work without ego, luxury without pressure, and a private space where every woman can feel seen.
